Short affiliate links look cleaner in Telegram posts and increase follower click-through rates. EZAffiliate supports direct integration with your personal Bitly account.
Step 1: Generate Bitly API Access Token
- Log into your account at Bitly.com.
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- Under the Developer Settings section, click API.
- Enter your Bitly account password and click Generate Token.
- Copy the generated Generic Access Token.
Step 2: Add Bitly Token to EZAffiliate Portal
- Open the EZAffiliate Creator Portal.
- Go to URL Shortener Configuration (or Bot Configuration).
- Select Bitly as your default URL shortener.
- Paste the API Access Token into the Bitly Access Token field.
- Click Save Configuration.
Fallback Protection
If your Bitly monthly link creation quota is reached, EZAffiliate automatically routes your links through secondary shorteners or uses clean canonical store URLs so your deal posts are never blocked.
