Setting up Amazon Affiliate Tracking ID

EZAffiliate automatically intercepts Amazon links from your source channels and swaps out their tag with your personal Amazon Associates Tracking ID.

Step 1: Find Your Amazon Tracking ID

1. Log into your Amazon Associates Central dashboard.
2. Look at the top-right corner of the navigation bar. You will see your store name and Tracking ID (usually formatted as yourname-21 for India or yourname-20 for US).
3. If you want to create a dedicated tracking ID specifically for Telegram deals:
   • Go to Tools ➡️ Manage Your Tracking IDs.
   • Click Add Tracking ID (e.g. teleloot-21).
   • This allows you to track earnings generated strictly from Telegram separately from your website or YouTube channel.

Step 2: Configure in EZAffiliate Portal

1. Log into the EZAffiliate Creator Portal.
2. Click Amazon Configuration in the left sidebar menu.
3. Paste your Tracking ID (e.g. yourname-21) into the Amazon Associates Tracking ID field.
4. Set Default Store: Amazon India (.in).
5. Click Save Configuration.

How Link Replacement Works

Every time a deal post containing an Amazon link is forwarded:

• Long URLs: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0CX23...?tag=otherchannel-21
• Redirect URLs: https://amzn.to/3xyz...

EZAffiliate resolves the product ASIN in less than 0.4 seconds, discards the competitor’s tag, attaches tag=yourname-21, and posts the deal directly to your channel.
