EZAffiliate includes built-in diagnostic and health sentinel tools so you never have to wonder if your bot is working or if an affiliate cookie expired while you were away.
1. Test Bot Token Connection
Before forwarding deals, verify that Telegram’s servers recognize your bot token:
- In the Creator Portal, go to Bot Configuration.
- Enter your bot token from
@BotFather. - Click Test Bot Token.
- EZAffiliate verifies the token with Telegram and immediately displays your bot’s registered name and
@username.
2. Live Channel “Verify Admin” Ping
To ensure your bot has sufficient permissions to post deals into your public or private channel:
- Go to Target Forward Channels in the Creator Portal.
- Next to any connected channel (
@dealsor-100xxxxxxxxx), click Verify Admin (or use the Send Test Ping tool in Bot Configuration). - EZAffiliate sends an automated verification ping:
⚡ EZAffiliate Diagnostic Ping: Your Telegram bot has verified Administrator permissions!
- If the bot is missing permissions, the portal will instantly display actionable advice:
- ❌ Bot lacks ‘Post Messages’ Administrator permission
- ❌ Chat not found (Make sure bot is added to channel first)
3. Telegram Instant Push Alerts (24/7 Sentinel)
Amazon Associates SiteStripe cookies and third-party session tokens can expire periodically. EZAffiliate monitors link conversion health 24/7 using a sliding-window failure tracker.
To receive direct alerts when your action is needed:
- On the Creator Dashboard, locate the Amazon Cookie & SiteStripe Health Sentinel card.
- Toggle Telegram Instant Push Alerts to ON.
- Enter your personal Telegram handle (e.g.
@your_personal_handleor numeric Chat ID). - Click Test Push Alert to verify reception.
Whenever your cookie fails or an affiliate API returns an authorization error, EZAffiliate will notify your personal chat immediately so your deals never skip a beat.
